Trelawny Resort consists of nine attractive cottage homes which are built on or near the beach, with 3 acres of restful grounds and tall pines. Our cottage homes each have a fully furnished kitchen and shower bath - blankets and pillows are also furnished. However, weekly rentals must furnish their own linens. Trelawny Resort is ideally situated on Lake Huron's Thunder Bay, with 200 feet of white sugar sand beach, and a view that is unsurpassed anywhere on Michigan's "Sunrise Side". Listen to the waves roll upon the shore while the wind whispers through the pine trees, with a clear sky and more stars than you have ever seen before.

Each cabin has a BBQ, a picnic table, and close designated parking. Our spacious grounds provide both shade and sun. Our cabins are set back from U.S. 23 providing a quiet and safe retreat. If you have your own sail boat, canoe or power boat, bring it along to Trelawny Resort and use it in the clean, clear water of Thunder Bay. There is good fishing, with a boat launching ramp nearby. Alpena Boat Harbor offers charter boat service. For the nature lover, you may want to visit the state forest with its marked trails or Alpena's Bird Sanctuary.

On our sugar sand beach you can play tetherball, volleyball, and play set. Wade out to the sand bars through the clean, clear refreshing water of Thunder Bay or sit at an umbrella table with a cold drink and book from our free lending library. At night, enjoy a campfire on the beach where you can star gaze, roast marshmallows, and tell tall tales. You can visit Sturgeon Point and/or Presque Isle Lighthouse both of which are an easy drive from Trelawny.

Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in-time is 3:00 PM, Check-out-time is 10 AM. A $100.00 deposit per week is required with reservations the balance is due upon Check-IN. All rates are as quoted, plus 6% Michigan Use Tax. Deposit is refundable with 60 days advance notification. The weekly rates are based on four occupants, except unit 11 which is based on six occupants. There will be an additional charge of $25.00 per week for each additional adult. Please state number of people when making reservations. All cottages can be made suitable for your needs with reservations. Weekly Price includes blankets and pillows, you must furnish your own towels, face clothes, dish clothes, and sheets. We are offering a 20% discount on rentals May - June , 2007 and Fall, Winter Season. Discount is not available for Hunting Season (November). We will rent by the night in the off-season.
